Fun Is Fun … But

Politic’s in its present form is the greatest scourge upon mankind that ever hit this planet.  It should be banned, outlawed, and done away with in every shape form or manner

Having watched a considerable portion of both political conventions in the past few weeks, and having read my fair share of the freely distributed bile on the Internet that people seem led to share with others, I have formed an opinion of sorts.  It is time for a reality check.  Here is a neat little ditty gleaned from the basket-case of humanity on channel four:  ” If you think the auto mileage standards are complex, listen up:  No matter what the price [of gas] is, if you double the mileage of your car, your bill will be half of what it would have been.

Uh huh, and never mind that the gas will cost three times more than it did before.

All great democracies have committed financial suicide somewhere between 200 and 250 years after being founded. The reason? The voters figured out they could vote themselves money from the treasury by electing people who promised to give them money from the treasury in exchange for electing them.  The United States officially became a Republic in 1776, some 231 years ago. The number of people now getting free stuff outnumbers the people paying for the free stuff. We have one chance to change that in 2012.

Failure to change that spells the end of the United States as we know it.

Now we seem to be kicking this tired dog around again …

“Ask yourself, are you any better off than were you were four years ago?”

Republican or Democrat makes no difference,

it is time to send these dirt bags and all their lobbyists buddies a clear message.

Get the job done or get lost.

(Change means things are different … not the … same old crap)

And if you bother to ask the younger generation who will have to pay for all this, I am sure they will have an answer for you too.

It is time to stop talking to empty chairs boys.  No more calling in favors from movie stars, and start listening to the people.  We are after all … footing the bill for all this.

Am I better off than I was four years ago?

Hell,

I cannot even afford to drive my car.

OOO
