  1. When President Elect Barack Obama fulfilled his dream, he inspired more, young and old, to dream ago. I have committed myself to each day saying a prayer for our newly elected President and his family; I encourage other praying saints to do likewise. Their is no greater power on this earth than the power of prayer.

  2. As an American citizen I try NOT to judge people by race, color; phyical abilities and financial worth, however, my eyes and my stress level has gone down considerable since the Presidential election. I am so proud that this man of little means can and did rise to the ocassion of being our First African American President.

Obama SHOULD NOT have been our first African American President — there were many more QUALIFIED men of color who could have should have been ELECTED. In the year 2008 THIS NATION OF PEOPLE HAVE A LONG WAY TO GO IN ORDER TO THINK AND UNITE AND BE ONE FOR THE SAKE OF OUR NATION, CHILDREN AND YES, OURSELVES.

We have two boys, one left and one right handed, and to this day, I watch the “south paw” and it drives me bonkers. But he is a great guy, so I guess it all evens out.

  7. I am very proud to be an American! They say WE wouldn’t make it. They said WE wouldn’t be here today. But one thing THEY forgot was, who’s in control. GOD is a Man that doesn’t lie. My hat goes off to you President Elect. We love you and we pray that GOD will do just what HE said HE would do. “HE will never leave you”, and “HE didn’t bring you this far to see you fail.” May HE keep you and your family safe from all hurt, harm and danger. You are proof that as Dr. King said, ” this is a Nation he’s believing in, that one day little black children and little white children will be able to come together as ONE! You’re the PROOF! Make us that once proud Nation! I Love You!

  10. History has been made and some more than others are excited about the next 4-8years President Elect Barak Obama has in the White House. My prayer is that He would continue to look to Jesus, the Author and Finisher of his faith. That he would seek wise counsel from those who are trustworthy but always from his wife and children FIRST! IF a man rules his home well then he will have no problem ruling well the country whose God is the Lord.
Thank you for inspiring hope in America but more than that, the return of the LOVE factor that has been removed from our homes. LEAD IN PEACE AND GO WITH GOD, MR. PRESIDENT!

God gives us what we need, not what we want…
It is truly a blessing to have both.
