I thought maybe it was me. A couple of times I went to look at a post I had read and couldn't find it. Maybe some of them are missing after all. Posting two times a day has to be a lot of work....way more than I could ever do. Seems a shame to do all that work only to have it lost. Someone needs to do the job they are collecting your money for doing.

Thanks for the comment James. I sent a message to support about this on Friday, and I note that over the weekend some changes have been put into place. The featured blog had not posted "anything since December of 2007" nothing in over 8 months time, and that is no longer there, they have instead put up my blog as the featured blog. Perhaps this is some type of feeble attempt at placating me I dunno?

Over the past week, I figure that about 6-8 posts did not make it to this venue for some reason or an other? There is no telling how many did not make it here over the past four months, and I will keep a close eye on it in the future. It doesn't do any of us any good whatsoever to put this stuff out there, if it isn't going to get posted for the purposes of being read.

I have no earthly idea as to why this is happening, but it is discouraging at times. I see people putting up as many as 25 posts in a line in some of these categories (which to me is tantamount to spamming) and I see them running multiple tags in excess of "12" (the number wordpress.com gave me that shuts down the public posting process) and are still being posted regardless.

Hopefully this has called enough attention to the problem that it will be addressed in the future and it will not happen again.

At the same time, I must accept some of the responsibility in this, I had mistakenly been tagging things wrong, and using categories files inappropriately, and this could have been a big part of the problem. I am a novice at most of this and there are certainly errors here on my part, that could have added to the problem.

But someone not posting in over 8 months and that is the "Featured Blog" that cannot be right.
