THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: “I have opinions of my own … strong opinions … but I don’t always agree with them.” …. Guess who?
How about Lo Jackin’ your pet? Lose Fido and cannot locate him? Global Pet Finder collar monitors your pet’s precise whereabouts and can keep you informed of the little guy’s exact location via phone or wireless device. Other modes use its Global Positioning System transmitter to create a virtual fence and let you take walks without the hassle of a leash. About $299 or the price of two good dogs.
Should be real popular in the south where there currently is a shortage of qualified babysitters. (don’t send me no letters)
A Japanese man said that “he noticed food missing from his home” for about a year now, so he set up a secret surveillance camera in his home, and found a homeless woman living in his closet. She said that she would sneak out when they were not home and take showers. Hard to believe.
Here is another one from the Friendly Skies …. The U.S. Transportation Department Security Administration has fired about 200 airport screeners for stealing valuables out of passengers’ carry on and checked luggage. Airline passengers have filed thousands of complaints (Good luck on that) accusing TSA agents of stealing jewelry, laptops, clothing, cologne, and designer sunglasses.
Last week in Hugo, Minnesota, a place where possibly three billion people have never been, a tornado struck the little town. Leaving in its wake, some pretty bizarre coincidences. Four steak knives in a perfect square, each with its blade imbedded 3 inches into the soil. An unrolled roll of toilet paper, without one square torn.
A twister came thru my grandmother’s farm and left straw imbedded in the side of a barn, stripped all the chickens in the yard of their feathers, opened a door on a refrigerator, sucked everything out of it, packed it full of mud, and slammed the door shut!
An awesome feat of nature, eh?
I wonder if Radio Girl is aware of this? Just received this from Ontario, I cannot believe this is happening to us, how do they get this information? Check your driver’s license. I was shocked when I stumbled upon this over the past weekend. Going over to the link, and inserting the data as required, provided quite an eye opener for me I am afraid.
What I found was rather disturbing, we should be contacting our elected representatives about this flagrant breach of trust.
Check your driver’s license information online.
Can you imagine? With all the current hoopla and blather floating around this country about “Identity Theft” and then you find information of such a personal nature readily available to the general public online. And it not only works for Canadian Information, but for U.S. Citizen Information as well.
I have removed and all information about myself at this time. You go to the website and check the data, after your lic. Information comes up, you can choose to click the box marked “Please Remove.” Some one ought to do something about this.
Check your driver’s license here.
What’s next?

Thanks for the heads-up on the lic. site.
About the quote at the top… I’m guessing Mr. Obama?
Nope, it was a “Bushism” from Shorty himself. I am sure Obammer or McClain are going to be a good source of “gaffs” in the near future.

Typical government bureaucracy. Somehow, they got YOUR picture on my driver’s license!
Well I’ll be a Monkey’s Uncle!
How did that happen?

Best photo I ever took.
But I always get strange looks from the liquor store clerk when she i.d’s me and I hafta yank out my license.
I absolutely cringe when they ask for I.D. as I hate to show it (drivers lic.) to anyone, it is the most uncomplimentary example of my existence that I can think of. I remember the girl at the tag agency and she said, “Aren’t you going to smile?” when she was taking the picture, and I replied, “How many people you know who are smiling when a cop writes them a ticket?”
End of story.

Oh, yeah, Bush. Figures.
Believe it or not, I am gonna miss him when he finally departs. He has been a never ending source of gaffs and gags for what, eight years now?
